Simulation based education (SBE) is a teaching methodology that tests participants knowledge, technical and non-technical skills and leadership, by placing them in clinical scenarios where they are challenged to actively solve problems. The role of the educator is to define the parameters to create a safe environment for hands-on experiential learning experiences.
