This New and Advanced Model can be used in any birthing scenario requiring a placenta, as well as a demonstration model for educational purposes. Features: Placental veins and arteries on the fetal surface and cotyledons of the maternal surface. This model also has attached remnants of membranes around the edge. The Umbilical cord is coiled and stretchy. It can also be ordered as a straight cord with embedded veins. Helps aid with identification of placental structures. Can be fully submerged for cleaning or covered with fake blood for an even more realistic experience. Aids students in learning culturally appropriate handling of the Whenua for burial. Constructed completely from high grade silicone. DIMENSIONS Placenta 22cm X 18cm - Umbilical cord 46cm X 2cm DIA WEIGHT 0.65 kg MATERIALS Platinum Silicone Cleaning and repair: The placenta and cord can be washed with warm soapy water and disinfected with Iso Alcohol. Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer. As Silicone is an oil-based product, it may become a little shiny over time. Wipe off any oily residue with Isopropyl Alcohol. Dry with a hairdryer. Store in a dry, dust free environment. Warranty: MEDICFX warrants that the products supplied will be of good quality and reasonably fit for the purpose(s) mentioned in the descriptions. All products that are faulty or damaged need to be notified, with a photo of the damage, within a week after receiving the products. If the damage or fault is due to fabrication, the faulty product can be returned and repaired, replaced, or refunded. MEDICFX offers a 6-month warranty on the silicone parts of your model.
