Simovation is an Australian based healthcare education and simulation technology service provider. We work with organisations locally, nationally and internationally.
Our mission is “transforming the way we learn, through interactive education technologies”.
We achieve this through the provision of simulated interactive learning environments, simulation wearable technologies and Bluetooth simulated patient assessment tools, which enhance patient simulation and education leading to more impactful learning outcomes.
Simovation supports its customers with solutions addressing simulation technology integration and program enhancement.
Our goal is to also support all educators and organisations in their pursuit of embedding interactive and experiential learning technologies within their curriculum and programs.
Simovation Managing Director
Ronan Sweeney is an experienced senior manager, educator and head of simulation and education for Simovation Pty Ltd. Ronan is a company director/founder, who has a passion for healthcare organisational learning, simulation based education and immersive technologies. An innovative thinker and early adapter of digital learning solutions, contemporary curriculum design and healthcare simulation learning environments.
As a healthcare simulation advocate and registered paramedic, Ronan is passionate about seeking ways to reduce patient harm and clinical incidents, through the development and implementation of leading clinical education, simulation based programs and technology solutions. Ronan is focused on identifying ways to bridge the gap between real world events and targeted simulated training activities.
Ronan has worked for the past decade in senior leadership management roles providing prehospital and In hospital clinical education and simulation strategic leadership for some of Australia's most iconic healthcare organisations.
Ronan holds a degree in Paramedicine, Diploma of Leadership & Management and a Post Graduate certification in Education (Leadership & Innovation) , as well as a CMS/Mater Education Simulation as a teaching tool instructor qualification, and Cert IV in Training & Assessment. Ronan brings a wealth of experience as a clinician, educator, innovator and senior manager to his role as Head of simulation and education at Simovation.
